A massive thanks to all who turned up and played the 27 hole marathon at Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club this week. We could not have asked for a better day!
Considering the day was booked months in advance the weather was perfect, brilliant blue skies, hardly a breath of wind and an immaculate course.
The day was played over the complexes three loops of 9 holes. Foxes played in the morning as a warm up, badgers and deer in the afternoon scored in the usual stapleford fashion with full handicap allowance.
The day was won by our junior captain with 39 stapleford points despite just having been cut by 5 on his handicap.
The next day has still to be confirmed but is expected to be after the summer break and if this trip is anything to go by then I for one cant wait.
As usual practice days are happening all the time so be sure to log into the members area of the Ledbury Golf Society for more details. In the meanitime I'm off to make the most of the weather
Happy Golfing

Latest from the LGS
Hi Everyone
As per usual have been to busy playing golf to keep up with the Blog posts.
Thanks to all who turned up to our game at Ross On Wye Golf Club. As always the turnout was good and we enjoyed 18 holes of golf on an immaculate course.
This weekend has seen us play 18 holes on both Saturday and Sunday which for the most part has been rain free.
Remember the Golf Day at Cleobury is only 3 weeks away so we will be trying to get practice rounds in most weekends. Ring me for details of when and where.
Happy Golfing

Ledbury Golf Society
Hi
Welcome to the newly created blog of the Ledbuy Golf Society.
So what is happening in the society. Well the first golf day is planned for May with a trip to Cleobry Mortimer, 27 holes, food and a few laughs along the way. If the weather holds it should be a good day out.
This trip is now fully booked but another is planned for July/September. We dont meet in August due to the holidays and most people are tied up with family business.
And remember our main website where you can find more information about the society and join if you so wish is www.hole-in-one.org.uk
